Summer Camp

Summer Camp

Camp KP is an ACA accredited summer camp located on a private 17 acre fenced campus. We offer numerous action-packed adventures and have lots of places to run and play. Our program is structured, which gives campers the opportunity to make friends, learn life skills, experience teamwork, and just have some good summer fun. We serve children from ages 5 to 12 and have some programs located in various Knox and Sevier County schools.

Camp KP

If your child attends our summer camp at Camp KP, they will participate in activities daily. We have weekly themes which offer additional fun and games. Whether it be participating in our Black-Out Dance during our Let It Glow week, or making Messy Spaghetti Paintings during our Grossology week, your child is sure to have many activities to choose from.

Every day that campers are at our main facility, they participate in three different sessions and are divided up based on their age. Each session has three or four options to choose from and one of those options is always some type of water play to help cool off during the summer heat. The activities during the sessions are also balanced between ones where campers learn valuable new skills and others which are “just for fun.” In addition to our numerous camp activities, our campers will have the opportunity to interact in get-together sessions in the amphitheater where we sing, dance, and play various games and competitions. We all gather together at lunch and snack in the cafeteria for fun healthy food choices.

School Sites

If you choose to go to a site in one of our school locations, they will come to Camp KP twice per week. The summer on-site schedules are similarly broken down into several activity segments. While the entertaining and educational themes continue throughout the week , the activities extend to all the different areas of science, art, games, snacks, and more. The on-site schedule is still fun, containing friendly competition and hands-on activities. At the same time, these activities are relaxed so children have an opportunity to chill with their friends during their long week.

Why Summer Camp?

At Camp KP, we want to form a relationship with families as we work towards providing the experiences that will help raise caring, confident, and independent young people equipped with the skills needed to thrive in the world we live in. Whether it’s making a lanyard in our craft room, going off the zipline, or climbing the rock wall in the pool, campers are encouraged to boost their creativity at Camp KP. The on-campus learning prepares campers for our exciting and age-appropriate activities. These activities, properly learned at camp, can be pursued for the rest of their life!

We are open from 7 am to 6 pm. We serve breakfast and snack every day and lunch Monday through Thursday. Come join us for a fun filled summer!
